Our vision
Since 1979, the Islamic Cultural Centre has served Lund’s Muslims from rented premises. The time has come for a permanent home — a real mosque that can house our growing community, our children, our elders, and everyone seeking a place for prayer, learning and companionship.
Why now
Our current premises overflow during Friday prayer, and we lack space for teaching, youth work and the community services our congregation needs. A mosque of our own would mean:
- Larger prayer space for all ages and families
- Classrooms for Qur’an and Arabic instruction
- Youth space and activity rooms
- Library and study rooms
- Kitchen and hall for Eid, Ramadan iftar and weddings
- Parking and accessibility
Be part of this
“Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” — Sahih al-Bukhari 450, Sahih Muslim 533
Every contribution — large or small — brings us closer. The mosque is built stone by stone, and every stone is carried by your support.
