School visits

We welcome school classes for guided mosque visits — a chance for students to meet a living community, not just read about one in a textbook.

What’s included

  • A tour of the mosque — prayer hall, library corner, and how the space is used through the day
  • A short introduction to Islam and Muslim life in Lund — pitched at the right level for the class
  • 20–30 minutes of Q&A with one of our imams or an experienced volunteer
  • The chance for students to observe or join a prayer (entirely optional)
  • Preparation material for the teacher to share with the class beforehand, on request

Who it’s for

Religious-education classes at the upper-primary and secondary level, plus SFI and adult-education groups. We can host classes of up to 35 students; larger groups we’ll happily split into rounds.
